Once upon a time, 30 years ago...<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Birgit Bode and the idea to help children with dental gold that is no longer needed, came to me in 1991. The fate of other people, especially children, has always been very close to my heart.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the help of some well-known and committed dentists, I came up with the idea of donating the proceeds of patients' generous donations of dental gold, especially to children and young people in need. Thus, in 1999, the association \"Dentists and Patients Help Children in Need e.V.\" was founded.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I am Chairwoman of the Board of Management, mother of two, and accompanied by my loving colleague and second Chairwoman of the Board of Management Barbara M\u00fchlst\u00e4dt (on the right in the photo). As a team, we have always moved mountains. With a lot of heart and soul and commitment, we have been able to realize over 2,500 projects to date. For years, our sponsoring association has been supported by many renowned foundations and has received several awards.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, a very big thank you goes to my esteemed colleague Evelin Bernhard, who has dedicated herself to the association for 14 years, in thousands of hours of voluntary work.<\/strong>
Without her, all this would not have been possible and I would like to express a heartfelt, big thank you to you, dear Evelin. It's nice that you exist.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
